Is it okay if we use PPC cement for concrete road construction?

PPC is OK if you allow time for its curing – more than opc. Road can not be blocked for long duration. So Rapid Hardening Cement is the best alternative for this purpose. Usual opc with excess lime stone (caco3) is mixed to obtain this cement.

It attains a strength in 3 days, what opc attains in 7 days. As the heat of hydration is more in this rapid hardening cement, frequent curing is also necessary to avoid dry shrinkage. Contractors are also paid excess to use this cement instead of opc.
